V10 product layout

I was thinking about the way that air flows through the vacuum cleaner and wanted to straighten the path to avoid turns, so I started sketching a linear design that presented the cyclone pack and bin in line with the wand. A while later we were reviewing the design of V8 in reference to bin emptying and I suggested than this new concept would be better for bin emptying as it would be easier to point and shoot the contents of the bin into the waste bin at home. We locked onto this design and started to develop it further. This was the foundation of the V10 product layout and I have a patent to show this leap in development of the Dyson cord free vacuum cleaner.
